Mrs. Nellie White Maddux, age 95, of Albertville, AL, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Georgia. Mrs. Maddux was born on March 27, 1925 in Calhoun County, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White. She was married to Alton Lee Maddux for 29 years, prior to his passing. She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Alabama.
Mrs Maddux was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee Maddux; her grandson, Brandon Douglas Perry; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White (Carrie Belle Conner); sisters,
Mrs. Beverly Barfield, Mrs. Audrey Turner, Mrs. Evelyn Burgess, Mrs. Carolyn Jamison, Mrs. Betty Hendricks and Mrs. Frances Forrester; and her brother Truman L. White.
Mrs. Maddux is survived by her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Perry (Karen), her sons Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Leona) Maddux and Mr. and Mrs. Steven (Lori) Maddux; her grandchildren
Anna and Chris Irwin, Ericka Perry, Casey and Candice Maddux, Eliot Maddux, Aiden Maddux, and Sawyer Maddux; great grandchildren Logan and Raegan Maddux, Harlow and Maddux
Perry, and Anson Irwin; her brother Paul R. White, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 21 at 12:30 P.M. at Douglas Cemetery, Douglas, Alabama.
