Nellie Sue Pounders, 85, Tuscumbia, Alabama, died Sunday, March 23. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, from 1:00 – 2:00 at Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with burial to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating is Brother Don McGuyer.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Pounders and Artis Black, and brother, Wadell Falin.
Survivors include her son, Tim Sawyer and wife, Kathy, of Gate City, Va; step-son, Joe Pounders, and wife, Deborah, of Muscle Shoals, AL; daughter, Debbie Culbertson and husband, Sam, of Kingsport, TN; step-daughter, Roseanna Cabaniss and husband, Steve, of Huntsville, AL; brothers, Norman Falin and wife, Gladys, of Kingsport, TN; Wallace Falin of Gray, TN; and Roy Falin of Duffield, VA; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; special nephew, Bob Lanford and wife, Dot, of Tuscumbia; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Ethel Michael, of Tuscumbia.

Mrs. Pounders was a member of Church of Christ at Frankford Road.
