Nellie “Joy” Revod Cordle, age 90, died Friday December 29, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William Raymon Cordle; daughters, Deborah Priest (Eddie), Connie Richardson (Glenn); son, Lance Cordle (Laura); sister, Norma Fisher (Leslie); seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Stony Point Church of Christ.
Visitation and funeral will be held at Stony Point Church of Christ on Monday, January 1, 2018. The visitation will begin at 11 a.m., and the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Stony Point Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Smith; parents, Newbern and Ida (Hendrix) Revod; and sisters, Ruby Jaynes, Trilby Comer, and Jo Keeton. Arrangements are by Greenview Funeral Home.
