Nellie Jean Foster , age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, November 02, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the National Store as a sales clerk and a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg. Mrs. Foster was also a member of the Golden Ramblers and the Ever Young Club.
Her parents were the late William Andrew and Nancy Rosemary Clayton Robertson. She was also preceded in death by husbands Henry Woodrow Carden and James W. Foster.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday, November 04, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Monday, November 04, 2013, with Jeff Vanlandingham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests donations be made to the Prayer Garden at First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg or the First Baptist Church Library in honor of Mrs. Foster.
