Nellie Irene Maxcy Jackson, 89, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her residence in Spanish Fort, Alabama. She was born in Bounds Crossroads, Mississippi and was a cafeteria worker. She attended Collegeview Church of Christ, Florence, Alabama.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, Mississippi, with Brother Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, Mississippi, Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one son, Julian Mark Jackson, Spanish Fort, Alabama, and one grandson, Robert Mark Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Thomas Jackson, her parents, Atlee Severe Maxcy and Mary Rozella Lee Maxcy, five brothers, Troy Sylvan Maxcy, Echord W. Maxcy, Abra Byron Maxcy, Atlee Leon Maxcy, and Azel Glen Maxcy, and two sisters, Annie Rozeeka Burton and Wilma Lee Fields.
Pallbearers will be Mark Jackson, Gary Maxcy, and David Franks.
