Nellie B. Green, 80 of the Mountain View Area within the Oleander community of Union Grove, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Green was born on July 30, 1937 to Emmett Oden and Vada Gay Hunkapillar Oden. Her husband, Ranzy Green preceded her in death. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, music and dancing. Mrs. Green loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Green is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Ranzy Darren Green & Merry and Leslie Dallas Green & Amy; daughters and son-in-laws, Carolyn Ann Vaughn & Conrad, Donna Jo Ruge & Herb, Linda Sue Roberts, Sandra Fay Rausch, Sherrie Denise Wertz & Jimmy and Angela Darlene Hall & Robert; brothers and sister-in-laws, Ronald Oden & Joyce and Donald Oden & Glenda; 11 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her brother, Albert Oden.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Gary McRae, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Zach Green, Ranzy Noble, Dakota Wertz, Chris Oden, Heath Oden & Nick Pettit, Honorary pallbearers will include, Bob Reed & Cecil Wilson.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
