Nellie Ann Wells Spitzer, age 83, passed away March 25, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Nellie was born August 2, 1936, in Brownsville, TN to Cecil W. and Annie Laura Wells, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Spitzer of Jackson, TN. Nellie was the oldest of four children and is survived by her brother Cecil (Bill) Wells, Jr., Cordova, TN and her sisters, Elaine Wells Barbour, Mobile, AL and Sheila Wood (Garry) Jacksonville, FL. A private graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2020, at Brownsville Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to: Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Mary Francis Trottman 1805 Rudolph Rd. Brownsville, TN 38012
