Funeral for Nellavine Glover, 84, will be Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Francis Proctor and Rev. Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glover, who died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at River City Health and Rehab., was born Oct. 20, 1931, to William Smith and Lucy Smith. She was a devoted christian and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Glover; son, Jimmy Johnson; and parents.
Survivors include three sons, Melvin (Tammy) Lawrimore, Stanley (Sharon) Lawrimore, and Donald Lawrimore; daughter, Pat Nix and Wendell; sisters, Madith Wright and Lois Childers; ten grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
