Nell Evans, 95, was born and lived her life in Madison County, Alabama. She married Doug Henderson who managed local A & P stores in Huntsville and Madison County. She was an active member of Gurley Church of Christ.
Nell was predeceased by her parents, Claud and Rosa Evans, her husband, James D (Doug) Henderson, and son, Richard V Henderson. She is survived by her son James (Jim) Henderson (Shirley), daughter Sandra Cannon (Mark), grandchildren Heather Anderson (Phillip), and Lindsay Schneider (Vincent), and 5 great grandchildren.
There will be a private burial at Maple Hill Cemetery and a memorial service to be announced later. Donations may be made to Gurley Church of Christ.
