Nelda Ann Malone Riner, 78, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday September 6, 2012. Her visitation will be on Saturday September 8th, from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia. The service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Bro. Ben Hayes and Dr. Glenn Conner are officiating.
Mrs. Riner was preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Riner. She is survived by her sons; Donnie Riner(Tina), of Leighton, AL. Ronnie Riner(Pat), of Tuscumbia, AL. Daughter; Dwala Keenum(Tim), of Nesbit, MS. Sister; Veda Rutland(Ralph) of Cherokee, AL. and Grandchildren; Josh, Jeremy, Jordan Riner, Anna Ryan(C.J.), and Taylor Keenum.
Mrs. Riner was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ, and was an auxillary volunteer at Helen Keller Hospital. She worked as a seamstress at The Village Shoppe in Muscle Shoals, for 25 years, and was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially her two constant companions, Buster and Tigger.
The family would like to express many thanks to Cottage of the Shoals for the love and support given to our dear mother.
Pallbearers will be Josh, Jeremy, and Jordan Riner, Taylor Keenum, C.J. Ryan, and Mark Rutland.
