Neil Ed Rainwater died June 13, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born Jan. 23, 1937 in Cullman to William Ewell Rainwater and Grace Crawford Rainwater. His parents; sister, Doris; and two brothers, Milton and Lynn, preceded him in death.
He is survived by a cousin/sister, Joanne Moore; daughter, Dana; two sons, Neil Ed II (Pam) and Clark (Dayla); four grandchildren, Ashleigh (Hinton), Sam (McKenzie), Kelsey and Tucker and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Luca.
In lieu of flowers, Neil wanted donations to be made to Hamby’s Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 247, Eva, AL 35621 or a charity of choice.
Family visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, June 17, 2017, 1 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
