Neida Patterson Sublett, 84 of Huntsville, passed away Sunday after a lengthy illness at Millenium Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Minnie Belle Patterson; her husband, Orien D. Sublett and a sister, Dovie Patterson McCollum. She worked in the banking industry for many years, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, Larry D. Sublett and wife, Sarah, of Meridianville, Michael K. Sublett and wife, Ann, of Gurley, and Marilyn S. Harbin of Huntsville; brother, Charles ‘Buddy’ Patterson of Meridianville; grandchildren, Stephanie Schrimsher, Anna Parks, Jennifer Drysdale, Jason Sublett, Samantha Davidson and Victoria Holub; 11 great-grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Murray Wilton officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
