Ned Eggleston Sullivan, age 78, of Lynnville, TN passed away Friday, April 03, 2020. He was a native of Williamson County, TN, retired farmer, former road construction supervisor, and a member of Lynnville Church of Christ. Mr. Sullivan was an Eagle Scout, an avid horseman, and a 3 year starter on the UT football team.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Russell and Lucille King Sullivan; and two brothers, Clyde Russell Sullivan and James Landon Sullivan.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Sullivan of Lynnville, TN; four daughters, Delia Sullivan of Jefferson City, TN, Elizabeth Austin of Morristown, TN, Amy Cagle of Fayetteville, TN, and Rachel Adams of St. Louis, MO; one son, Todd Sullivan (Emily) of Elizabethtown, KY; two stepdaughters, Dana Poland Hayes (Mark) of Panama City, FL and Amy Poland of Lawrenceburg, TN; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Earl Sullivan (Abbie) of La Quinta, CA and Dan Sullivan (Mary) of Glade Spring, VA.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
