Ned E. Johnson, 59, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo . He was born September 16, 1953 to the late Etchel Pete Johnson and the late Dessie Wayne Senter Johnson. He retired from TEI after 28 years of service. He was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. He was a Motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed being outdoors, and riding horses.

He is survived by his Wife – Robin Melton Johnson, Daughter – Jodi (Michael) Cleary of Fulton, MS; Son – Bradley Gates of Willmington, NC; 2 Granddaughters – Amber Wheeler of Fulton, MS, Audrey Wheeler; Sister – Shelby (Julian) Hood; Brother – Ralph (Jennie) Johnson of Fulton, MS; 2 Aunts – Gola Moses of Red Bay, AL, Jessie Jamerson of Fulton, MS; In Laws – Riley Melton; In Law – Faye Melton; brother in law – Ryan (Robin) Melton.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Etchel Pete Johnson, Mother, Dessie Wayne Johnson, Brother, Kenneth R. Johnson.
Pallbearers are Rickey McDanie,lDavid Shields,Jeff Hill,James Jamerson,Johnnie Harmon, and Rick Mitchell.
