 Nathaniel Artemio Wilson “Easy Nate” age 88 of Huntsville passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 4, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Wilson was a native of New Rochelle, New York. He later moved to Buffalo, N.Y. with his parents, Darius and Charlotte Wilson where he resided until August 1974.

He married Minnie (Brevard) on his birthday, February 14, 1954 and to this union his two daughters, Debra and Angela were born.

He served in the US Army from February 1952 until February 1954. He then worked the remainder of his career in civil service for the U.S. Army. From November 1955 until September 1968 he worked at Ft. Niagara in Youngstown, NY. In 1968 he transferred into the U.S. Army Materiel Command ‘s Quality Assurance program as a Quality Assurance Specialist where he worked as an ammunition inspector until he retired in October 1994.

During his career with the government he was stationed in Savannah, Ill, Seneca, NY, Anniston, AL , Pirmasens, Germany, South Korea and Picatinny, New Jersey.  He relocated to Huntsville in 2016.

In addition to his parents, and his wife Minnie, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thaddeus, Hilda (Furlow), Eunice (Grayson) and Harold.

He is survived by two daughters Debra Wilson (Fred) King of Ogden, Utah and Angela Wilson Walker of Huntsville; three grandchildren Terri (Steven) Hunt, Adrienne King and Frederick (Brittani) Walker; three great-granddaughters, Saniyya Hunt, Symona Hunt and  Luelani Walker and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood University or Huntsville Community Drumline.

A celebration of life service for Easy Nate, will be held on Monday, May 20 at 6:00pm at Huntsville Drumline 1800 Jordan Lane, Huntsville, AL.
