Nathan Harold Roberson, 81, passed away on October 3, 2026 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a retired lineman for the Florence Electricity Department as well as serving in the National Guard. He was a member of the North Wood Methodist Church and of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Greenview Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Sonny Owens.
Nathan was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Darby Roberson; parents, Carroll and Mary Roberson; brothers, Jerry, Bobby, and Tim Roberson; and sister, Ann Roberson Potts.
He is survived by his son, Paul Roberson (Tara); brothers, David Roberson (Anna) and Larry Roberson (Teresa); sisters, Faye Crittenden (Randy), and Sue Malone (Bobby); and grandchildren, Ross Roberson, and Owen Roberson (Sarah).
Pallbearers will be Ross Roberson, Owen Roberson, Mark Darby, Stephone Darby, Ryan Roberson, and Robert Kelsey.
