 Nathan Earnest Wooten, 73, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his residence. He had worked in maintenance at Golden Manufacturing for twenty-five years and served in the U.S. Army and National Guard.

Memorial services will be Saturday, December 4, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two grandchildren – Casey Pardue and LeeAnn Hicks Adams Posey (Derek); one great-granddaughter – Cora Lee Posey and four brothers – W.D. Wooten (Mable), Jimmy Wooten (Peggy), Donnie Wooten (Teresa) and Larry Wooten (Linda).

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Osborn and his parents, Nim and Nellie Mae Wooten.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 12-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
