TUPELO– “During July and August 2015, the Natchez Trace Parkway experienced a slight decrease in the number of recreational visits over the 2014 figures,” stated Superintendent Mary Risser. “This year, an average of 517,046 used the Parkway during July and August 2015 compared to the average of 523,502 who were counted in 2014.”

These numbers continue to put the Natchez Trace Parkway on track to be among the top ten most visited National Park Service sites.
