Natchez Trace Parkway seeks information on hit-and-run collision

TUPELO  – National Park Service law enforcement rangers are asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision on Natchez Trace Parkway.

On Sunday, February 25, 2024, a dark colored 2009-2012 Buick Enclave was involved in a collision near Pharr Mounds, at milepost 286.7. The driver fled the scene without stopping. The suspected vehicle was being driven by a white male described to be late middle aged to elderly. The last known direction of the vehicle was heading northbound on Natchez Trace Parkway at 1:19 p.m. The Buick may be missing some of the front chrome trim piece near the driver’s side headlight.
