TUPELO, MS – Children and their families are encouraged to come enjoy the Read with a Ranger program at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Parkway Visitor Center in Tupelo, MS. This month’s featured story is “Miles and Miles of Reptiles,” a fun Dr. Seuss book that explores various reptiles from turtles to alligators. Participants will learn fun facts about reptiles found along the Natchez Trace Parkway and will be able to make a snake mobile to take home.
Read with a Ranger is a 45-minute program that is most appropriate for ages six and under, but all ages are welcome. Participants listen to a story, join in a fun activity and can go on an easy half-mile hike. Read with a Ranger features a new story on the second Saturday of the month.
