TUPELO – The weather cooperated… just barely… for the 75th Anniversary of the Natchez Trace. This remarkable road is operated by the National Park Service, and Saturday was the day for the big celebration. Folks from all over came to the Headquarters near Tupelo to see nature exhibits, talk to the Park Rangers, get history lessons, and eat 10-cent hot dogs and sodas.

It was a great day. The Quad-Cities Daily went down to take Event Photos, and we present them here. Feel free to download these high quality 4×6-inch images. Just remember, they are for your private, NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY.

We also have a video for our readers to see. It’s something we did a few years ago for a client and it is shows a brief tour of the Trace.
