Natalie “Nat” Latham White – Obituary

Natalie “Nat” Latham White, 94, of Moulton passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with R.C. Borden and Danny Russell officiating. Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery.

 

Born on October 26, 1922 to the late Lawrence and Annie Crow Latham, Nat graduated from Lawrence County High School and was a member of Landersville Methodist Church. She loved cooking for family, gardening and her flowers.

 

Survivors include two sons, Don White and Mark White; daughter, Joyce Posey; grandchildren, Beth Willis, David White (Cindy), Kim Posey, Matthew White (Paige), and Natalie Cook (Dale); great grandchildren, Daniel Woodard (Kenyatta), Hollie Mason (Jeffrey) Hannah Bailey (Joseph), Byron White, Charleigh White, Stella White, and Naomi Cook; great-great grandchildren, Ralyn Woodard, Brayden Woodard, Kinsey Woodard, Gunner Bailey, Lane Mason, Ayden Mason, and Jayden Mason; brother, Henry Latham; sister, Ruby Prickett; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Nat was preceded in death by her husband, Byron White, Jr., her parents, two brothers, six sisters, and one grandchild.

 

Pallbearers will be Don White, Mark White, David White, Matthew White, Daniel Woodard and Willard Blankenship. Her granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.

 

The family offers special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Helen Keller Hospital and Lawrence Medical Center.
