Narvel Proffitt, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012. Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m. today at Dillinger Funeral Home, Newport, Ark. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holden Avenue Church of Christ, Newport, with burial in Sandhill Cemetery. He was the father of Teresa Proffitt Colvin of Florence.
