Naomi Rosanne (Ashley) Jones, age 63 of Cowan, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 1, 1959 in Winchester to the late John and Lois (Goff) Ashley. Naomi retired from St. Mary’s Sewanee after many years of service as a custodian. She loved to read her bible faithfully and was devoted Christian. She enjoyed drawing and spending time with her family. Naomi will be remembered as a simple lady who loved to laugh and was a loving and caring aunt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her life partner, Daryl Bailey; brother, Johnny “Sarge” Ashley; nephews, Jason Ingle and Scott Van Allman; and great -great nephew, Holland Boswell. She is survived by siblings, Carol (Bill) Payne of Bridgeport, AL, Bobbie (John) Ingle of Winchester and Wayne Ashley of Decherd; sister-in-law, Alice Clark of Cowan; and many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
