God came and picked a beautiful flower for his bouquet. Mrs. Nannie Lee Ervin joined God’s beautiful bouquet on Sunday, August 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Mr. O. C. Baker Sr. & Mrs. Bessie Slay Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother’s Mr. L.C. Baker and Mr. Willie James Baker, her sister Mrs. Lizzie Mae Anderson.
She confessed hope in Christ at a young age under the Pastoral ship of Rev. James Townsend and joined the Phillips Tabernacle Primitive Baptist Church. She sang with the Baker family Choir for many years.
Nannie was educated in the Limestone County school system. She was a graduate of Trinity High School, class of 1965. She was an agent for Mutual Insurance for 28 years.
Her precious memories will forever be cherished by her son, Mr. Timmy (Regina) Baker, grandchildren, Titus (Allison), Shelessa, Cynetria, Krystal (Ron), great grandchildren, Kaden, Riley, Saylor, Van’Gaya, TiLyn, Ronald III, brothers, O. C. Jr., Willie Lewis (Maxine) sister, Bessie Lee, a special friend Lorenzo Jackson (Jack), close friends, Sally Orr and Sally Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends who will miss him very much.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church (13376 Dupree Worthey Road, Harvest, AL 35749) with Pastor Willie Lewis Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Haygood Cemetery. Mrs. Ervin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023, and 8:30 until 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home – Mason Chapel.
