Nancy Willis Keal, long time Huntsville resident, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2020. She was born in Nashville to Hassell G. and Helen Willis and graduated from Litton High School in Nashville, and then Middle Tennessee State University with an Elementary Education Degree. Before raising her family, she taught elementary school in Nashville, Atlanta and Huntsville (Mt. Gap Elementary). She was an active member at Trinity United Methodist Church, the Cokesbury Sunday School Class, John Hunt Antique Club among several clubs throughout Huntsville. She loved antiques and was an avid collector for many years. In her lifetime she traveled many places around the world with family and friends. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren at family gatherings in Huntsville and Perdido Key, FL.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” M. Keal; son, William Kerry Keal (Nalima) of San Jose, CA; daughter, Shannon Keal Norris of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren, Alexandria Norris (16), Taylor Norris (13), Korsen Keal (6) and Kaiden Keal (2); sister, Lynn Brisson (Ray); and nephews, Barry Brisson and Scott Brisson (Kim) all of Hendersonville, TN.
A private graveside service will be held Friday at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchell Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
