Nancy Underwood McCalpin, 70, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Atlanta, GA and was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay, AL.
Services will be Thursday, October 13, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jerry Ginn officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Camille Sampino and Chad Hughes (Mike); her father – Eucellis Underwood; two brothers – Phillip Underwood (Shelia) and Donald Underwood; one sister – Mary Underwood; one nephew – Darrell Underwood (Becky) and one niece – Jennifer Lane (Jonathon).
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul Wesley Hughes; her mother, Sarah Ann Underwood; grandparents, Harvey McKinney, Lela Strickland McKinney, Lois Underwood and Ethel Underwood, her first husband, Paul Hughes and a sister-in-law, Tammy Underwood.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 11-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
