Nancy Suzanne Jones, 70, of Glen, MS passed away on May 10, 2018. She was born in Alcorn County on August 6, 1947 to Charlie Ed and Georgia Hopper Haynie. Suzanne worked at various businesses in the area including, Corinth Gas and Water, Auto Zone and the Alcorn County School District in the cafeteria. She later retired to do the job she loved the most, truck farming. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Victory Baptist Church. Those left to honor Suzanne’s memory include: her husband of 44 years, LaRoyce Jones of Glen, MS; sons, Chris South and wife Janet of Corinth, MS, Johnny South of Glen, MS, Jay Jones and wife Emily of Glen, MS and Will Jones and wife Britney of Glen, MS; brother, Dan Haynie and wife JoNell of Corinth, MS; 9 grandchildren, Hannah, Nicholas, Caroline, Lola Kate, Ryan, Jenna, Savanna, Maggie and Maddi. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Ed Haynie and her mother, Georgia Hopper Haynie. A celebration of life service for Suzanne Jones is set for Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Charlie Browning and Bro. Alan Parker. Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, from 12:00 PM till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Lewis Patterson, Terry Carter, Blan Rickman, Lexie Price, Scott Barnes and Brian Barnes. Special thanks to caregivers Tabitha Sharp, Spring McCallister and Brandy Muse. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
