Nancy Sue Bean – Obituary

Nancy Sue Bean, 61, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at her home. She was born November 9, 1956, to R.C. and Ruth Evelyn Hilliard Bennett. She was a 1974 graduate of Itawamba A.H.S., where she played on the basketball team. She was a medical transcriptionist most of her working life, before retiring from Dorsey Grammar School as a secretary. She was a Baptist in belief, and attended Cardsville Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and being around her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, April 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Mike Todd officiating. Burial will be in the Bourland Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David C. Bean; two sons, David Joshua Bean (Nicole) of Ventura, CA, and Cody Addison Bean (Laken) of Peaceful Valley Community; two grandchildren, Annalin Claire Bean and River Coy Bean; five brothers, Stanton “Pete” Bennett (Rose) of Water Valley, MS, Nolan Gene Bennett of Fulton, Donnie Bennett (Debbie) of Peaceful Valley, Jerry Bennett Sheila) of Smithville, and Tony Lee Bennett (Penny) of Tyler, TX; two sisters, Francine Estes (Willie) of Dorsey and Nita Duncan of Fulton; a special niece, Sherron Estes; a life-long special friend, Diane Falls; a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Bennett and Brandon Bennett; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Ricky, Dirk, Lance, Chad, and Petey Bennett, Chris Estes, and T.J. Duncan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trae Wiygul, Lana Hughes, Sondra Pearce, Jo Van Dam, Vickie Cates, and Cheryl Snipes.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m. Tuesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
