Mrs. Nancy Stewart Powell, age 74 of Woodville passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Stewart and Rev. Danny Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her daughters, Beverly Powell and Misty Powell; son, Anthony Powell (Mary); 7 grandchildren, Barry Powell, Shelby (Brock) Griggs, Ashley Powell, Sheridan Powell, Tasha (Casey) Jordan, Chelsey Casey, and Ethan Little; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Wells (Cecil), Kathy Burgess, and Carolyn Rousseau; brothers, Danny Stewart (Carol) and Stanley Stewart (Kathy); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene Powell; siblings, Delores Guess, Teresa Payne, and Hulen Stewart; and parents, Harrison & Kathleen Stewart.
