Nancy Power Osburn, age 82, passed away January 31, 2024. Nancy, is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Blaine; parents, Herman and Lottie Power; brothers, Tom, Ed and Hubert.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Anne and son-in-law, Robby Boyett; sister, Gayle and brother, James and wife, Gloria.
Nancy was born and grew up in a small community of Copeland, attending Copeland Church; the base for her Christian faith. During her adult life, she lived in Huntsville, AL; Southern CA, Augusta, GA and currently Madison, AL.
Those who knew her were touched by her kindness, generosity, capability, dedication and profound love for her family. Her life was filled with creativity. She was able to turn new and imaginative ideas into a reality of her own and focus her life on what to see manifest. She liked, gardening, baking, interior design, oil painting, porcelain and ceramic making. Most of all, fulfilling her own expectations and helping others.
In her very early years, she worked as a hairdresser in her own little curosity shop. She worked in the office of the Probate Judge of Madison County. There she met her husband, Blaine.
Nancy, retired from Mortgage Lending Banking in Thousand Oaks, CA and to go on to own an Antique Shop in Augusta, GA.
Visitation will be from 1:30PM – 2:00PM and Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2024.
