Funeral services for Nancy McElvain, age 78, are scheduled for Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2 PM in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Ms. McElvain passed away late Monday in Lexington. She was born April 12, 1944 in Henderson County to the late Barry and Hessie Mae Maness Denison. She was a retired seamstress for Decaturville Sportswear. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Larry McElvain, one brother, Paul Denison, and two sisters, Patricia Prater and Nola Wood. Survivors include her son, Larry Wayne McElvain; her significant other, Roger Allen; three brothers, Jim Denison (Shelby), Ronnie Denison (Cindy), and Cole Denison (Betty); two grandchildren, Katrina Bromley (Ryan) and Mindy Bryant (Jimmy); and three great grandchildren, Jada Bromley, Troy Bromley, and Acelynn Bryant. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 3-9 PM and Thursday, 11 AM – 2 PM.
