Nancy Louise Murrell Justice – Obituary

Nancy Louise Murrell Justice, 91, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born to Jessie O. and Nancy Ann Priddy Murrell on December 22, 1922, in the Greenwood community. She attended Ballardsville school and was an active member of Ballardsville Baptist Church. She married Milford Justice on March 18, 1944, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2012. She had lived in Mooreville for the past 57 years where she retired from the Mooreville School Cafeteria in 1990 after 19 years of service.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Roger Franks and Bro. Jimmy Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the Dorsey Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Lindsey (Larry) of Nettleton and Jency Justice of Mooreville; two grandchildren, Michael Lindsey (Micki) of Tupelo and Melinda Lindsey of Nettleton; three great-grandchildren, Bryce, Avery Kate, and Mace Lindsey of Tupelo; a sister-in-law, Sue Murrell White of Dorsey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Laverne White and Gaither Loden; one brother, Sherrell Murrell; and a nephew, Terry Murrell.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Kingsley, Frank Murrell, Jr., Dan Ballard, Randy Pearce, Wayne Loden, and Ben Kingsley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ballardsville Baptist Church, 100 Ballardsville Church Rd., Tupelo, MS 38804, or Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main St., Tupelo, MS 38801.
