Nancy L. West, 62, Birmingham, AL. passed away Tuesday June 6, 2017. She was the wife of Bob West, of Birmingham formerly of Haleyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Norma Lingafelter of Kansas. She was a graduate of the University of Missouri, earned her Master’s degree from Northeast Louisiana University and was working toward her doctorate degree from the University of Alabama. She was an executive for Sate Farm Insurance Company in Monroe, Louisiana and was an entrepreneur.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Bob West, her step-daughters, Rebecca Davis and Stacy (Richard) Williams; 9 grandchildren, West, Will, Henry, Jake and Sam Davis, McKain, Marcy, Hunter and Clay Williams; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Linda Gentle of Haleyville.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Winston Memorial Cemetery with Andy Kizer officiating.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials or Donations may be made to the Charity of your choice in her name.
