Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Higdon, age 79, are scheduled for 1 PM, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Lexington Christian Church with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Higdon passed away early Friday in Lexington. She was born September 28, 1935 in Juno to the late Tilden and Hazel Alma Smart Sipes. She was retired from Johnson Controls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wayne Higdon and one grandchild, Tilden Drew Armstrong. Survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Higdon and Kathy Armstrong; two sisters; three nieces; one nephew; three grandchildren, Amanda Greer, Ashley Primm, and Valerie Armstrong; and two great grandchildren, Brooklynn Menzies and Jayden Greer.
