Nancy Autery Wilson, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5, at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Joshua Vacik will officiate.
Nancy was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and graduated from the University of Montevallo with a degree in Education. She taught for several years at Orchard Elementary in Mobile. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Jim” Wilson, Sr.; and brother, David Neal Autery.
She is survived by her children, James H. “Jamie” Wilson, Jr. and Heidi Vacik (Joshua); brother, Frank Wayne Autery (Jan); and grandchildren, Sophie, Isabelle, and Luci Vacik.
