FLORENCE-North Alabama Medical Center, North Alabama Shoals Hospital and all medical clinics associated with North Alabama Medical Group have issued the following joint statement:
“We are aware of concerns regarding a potential adverse reaction related to the administration of Ceftriaxone (Rocephin). Out of an abundance of caution, we have removed this medication from our acute and clinic settings while we further investigate this issue. No reactions have been reported with our facilities or sites of care. We are coordinating with relevant healthcare organizations on this developing situation and will share more information as available.”
