Dr. Nagendra Singh, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, College of Engineering, University of Alabama, Huntsville, passed away on July 13, 2015 from prostate cancer. His survivors include his wife, Vanitha, of Huntsville, daughter, Gitanjali and her husband, Prithwish; grandsons, Ananda and Naren, all of Massachusetts; brother, Hriday Narayan; sister, Sita in India. A private funeral service was conducted. He was a quiet man who lived a quiet life. He loved the purity and grandeur of science and he loved his family. Any contributions in his memory may be made to any charity. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
