Nadeliah “Dee” Prince Jacks, 84, of Huntsville, passed away December 6, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Jacks was born December 23, 1929, in Jackson County, Alabama, the daughter of Charley Noble and Georgia Lillian (Cates) Prince. She was a graduate of Flintville High School Class of 1948 and a 1950 graduate of Andrew Jackson College in Nashville.

Mrs. Jacks was a long time resident of Portage, Michigan. She retired from Upjohn Pharmaceutical and after retirement relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntsville.

Mrs. Jacks is preceded in death by her parents, Charley Noble and Georgia Lillian (Cates) Prince; two sisters, Evelyne Newsom and Kathleen Ashburn; four brothers: Hurley, Aubrey, Jesse Gentry, and Harold Thurman Prince.

She is survived by her husband, Towry Allison Jacks; son, Terry Harold Jacks and wife Sandra of North Carolina; step-grandson, Scott Weavil and wife Mandi; and several special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00noon at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 12:00 chapel service. Interment will be at Clay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Nadeliah be sent to: Hospice Family Care of Madison County; 3304 Westmill Dr.; Huntsville, AL 35805.
