Myrtle Sarah Terry of Town Creek, born on February 16, 1924, to Carrie Borden Blankenship and David Blankenship of Mount Hope passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Birdis Terry; her three sisters, Julie, Edith and Reba; her two brothers, Hubert and DC; and one grandson, Gene Terry Jr.
She is survived by one son, Gene Terry of Town Creek and his wife, Donna; five grandchildren, Deanna Little, Felicia Hogan, Vincent Terry, Shane Terry and Jason Terry; 20 great-grandkids and eight great-great-grandkids.
Visitation will be tonight at Parkway Funeral Home from 6 to 8. Funeral service will be Friday, May 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church with Don Morris officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
