Myrtle Pace Pennington age 92, of Russellville, Al. passed away Friday November 7, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday November 9, 2014 from 1P.M. – 3P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 3:00P.M. Sunday in the chapel. Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Lawrence County, Al. Officiating is Brother Eric McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Mary Hatton Harrison; husbands, Preston Pace and Roy Pennington Jr.; brothers, Leo and Truman Harrison; sisters, Methel, Zona, and Tincy; daughters-in-law, Shirley and Dianne Pace; and grandson, Donnie Pace.
She is survived by her children, Ray, Roy (Donna), Jimmy Pace (Dianne), Peggy Self (Carrol); 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Hall; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
