Myrtle Mayfield Steele, 85 passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Cloverdale Health and Rehab.
Myrtle is survived by her Son, Brian Keith Steele (Jerrie), Sisters, Dorothy Powell (Richard), Phyllis Russell (Gaylen), Elaine Heard (Wayne), Pam Mayfield Rogers, Grandchildren, Heather Thomas (Jody), Hunter Steele (Peyton), Mallory Treadwell (Adam), Will Kirk (Kristin), Great Grandchildren, Emmalyn, John Parker and Hank Steele, Maxwell Thomas, Blake and Brewer Treadwell, Ethan and Adam Thomas, Sister-in-law, Mary Townson, Linda Raulston (Clyde), Roberta Mayfield, along with several nieces and nephews.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her Husband, James Edward Steele, her Parents, Thomas “Tommie” and Novella Anderson Mayfield, and a Brother, James Floyd Mayfield.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Joel Schifflett officiating beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
Pallbearers will be: Hunter Steele, Adam Treadwell, John David Green, Will Kirk, Jody Thomas, Brian Steele.
