Myrtle Frances Guin age 69 of Athens passed away Tuesday May 26th, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 8th,1945 in Marston, MO. to Lee and Myrtle Lassie Hatchel. Her services will be Friday May 29th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jeff Watson and Brother John Norman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday May 28th, 2015 from 6-9Pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Myrtle Hatchel and husband Gene Smith, also one grandson Cameron Smith. She is survived the three sons: Jeff Watson of Nashville, TN, Bo Smith (Teresa) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Chris Smith (Jamie) of Athens, AL. She is also survived by two daughters Tammy Williams: (Gary) of Athens, AL and Misty Wilson (James) of Athens, AL, one sister Alfern Hunt (Tommy) of Corinth, MS. She also has twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Owens Cross Roads Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Justin Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Terry Johnson, Jonathan Watson, James Wilson and Gary Williams.
