Myrtle Cayea, age 96 of Leighton, died Thursday, December 29, 2016.
Her family will receive friends Saturday 2-4 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Cayea was a native of Fayette, AL, worked in Chicago, retired and returned to Alabama. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ward and son, Lomax Garrison.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Mitchell of Chicago, Dean Greynolds and Vera Stanley, son, Bill Garrison of Tennessee, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any local Hospice in memory of Myrtle N. Cayea.
