Funeral service for Myrtis Irene Grant, 97, will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Peoples officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Hope North Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grant died on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Cullman County Long Term Care Center (The Folsom Center). She was born March 5, 1916, in Cullman County to Sherman Young and Myrtie Hilton Young. She was a homemaker and caretaker. She was preceded in death in 1977 by her husband: Eskel Grant .
