Myra Wells

Myra Louise Wells, 87, of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at UAB Hospital. Family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Myra was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of New Prospect Baptist Church, and a previous member of the choir there as well. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren and will be immensely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wells; parents, John and Bessie Cross; siblings, Melissa Gilbreath, Johnny Cross, Juanita Bozeman, and Perry Cross. She is survived by her children, Randy Wells, Debra Odom, and LillyBelle Wells (Beloved pet); grandchildren, Angela Lovett and Cynthia Ridings; great grandchildren, Amber, Alexis, Abby, Adrian; sibling, Ruby Roberts; son-in-laws, LC Odom and Dean Lanton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Flowers are welcomed or in lieu of flowers family request donations be made to UAB Hospital or St. Judes of Memphis, TN.
