After 13 short years on her earthly journey, Myla Grace Blankenship was called home and given her angel wings. A special gift from God, Myla was born on June 28th, 2010, to Matthew Blankenship and Jasha Smith.
Myla leaves behind all those who dearly loved her: her mother Jasha Smith (Dillon Eady); father Matthew Blankenship (Amy Renee); sister Aribella Blankenship; brother Declan Eady; grandmothers “Nana” Shelia Smith and “Nana” Robin Blankenship; grandfathers “Pawpaw” Michael Ball and Gilbert “Paw” Blankenship; step-grandmother “Nana Dana” Dana Ausban; great-grandmother Mary Jane Blankenship; great-aunt “Nay Nay” Shenida Pitts; aunts Samantha “Cricket” Blankenship, Constance “TT” Campbell, Jade Eady, and Skyler Myers; uncle Jayson “Hodgie” Clark; and several cousins.
Myla was greeted by her loved ones gone before her: grandfather Jeffrey Smith; cousin Danielle Blankenship; great-grandparents Carolyn and Kenneth Pitts; and great-grandfathers Stanley Clark and Billy Joe “Jody” Blankenship.
Friends and family will say their final goodbyes to Myla at a graveside service on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Bottoms Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00-1:30pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
