Muscle Shoals Woman Dies From Injuries Received After Two-Vehicle Accident near Leighton

LEIGHTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Leighton that has taken the life of a Muscle Shoals woman:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. Thursday, July 31, has claimed the life of a Muscle Shoals woman.

Keddra C. Ingram, 38, was fatally injured when the 2025 Lincoln Corsair, in which she was a passenger, struck the rear-end of a 2018 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Willie M. Johnson Jr., 38, of Decatur. Ingram was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Lincoln was David A. Drumgood, 37, of Muscle Shoals.

The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 36 mile marker, approximately one mile east of Leighton, in Colbert County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
