SHEFFIELD-On Friday, January 3 Muscle Shoals Song Rooms located at 3010 North Jackson Highway in Sheffield celebrated their long awaited grand opening. A host of friends and family as well as a few local songwriters were on hand to help Lillian Glanton celebrate the opening of this unique establishment. The Shoals Chamber added to the festivities by sponsoring a Chamber ribbon cutting for their newest member.
Now a little information about Muscle Shoals Song Rooms:
“Raised in the Muscle Shoals area and a songwriter herself, Lillian Glanton, Founder of Muscle Shoals Song Rooms, had a vision to design a songwriting space where she could collaborate with co-writers in the Hit Capital of the World. She found a location just two blocks from the famous Muscle Shoals Sound, at 3010 N. Jackson Highway in Sheffield.
“Every week, I would book co-writes with songwriters in town and the question would always be “Where are we going to write?” said Glanton. “I decided to create a solution to the problem; I wanted to create a space where songwriters could collaborate in an inspiring and professional environment, right here in the heart of Sheffield.”
