MUSCLE SHOALS – The Muscle Shoals Police department issued a statement concerning a suspect who had broken into a car. Joey Brewer was arrested at the scene:“Officers responded early this morning (Wednesday, November 3) to a male breaking into a car in the 300 block of Monroe Ave.
The suspect ran from the scene and officers gave chase on foot. The suspect was caught and arrested a few blocks away.
During the foot pursuit the suspect threw a handgun down that he had stolen out of the car.
Please DO NOT leave firearms in unattended or unlocked vehicles.
